Farah Kobaissy is an independent researcher and consultant on gender and social justice.  

Her research is invested in intersectional feminist movements’ building, focusing on the informal and formal labor organization in the Middle East and North Africa. 

She has completed her master’s degree in Gender Political Economies at the American University in Cairo and Jawaharlal University in Delhi
