Clara Crivellaro is senior research fellow in digital local democracy at Newcastle University’s Open Lab. Her research explores technologies’ role in democratic practices and social activism.

She is currently leading the EPSRC funded Not-Equal Network+, which fosters collaborations between academic and organisations from the third sector, public sector and industry exploring pathways to advance social justice in the Digital Economy.
