Adam leads the Innovative Finance & System Change Team for the Danish Red Cross. Prior to joining the Danish Red Cross, Adam was based in Washington, DC where he was CFO for Ashoka, a foundation that supports social entrepreneurs.

Preceding Ashoka, Adam was a Senior Advisor at USAID and led the Innovative Finance team for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria. In the past, Adam was Head of Mongolia for International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Before moving into the humanitarian sector, Adam was Senior Vice President with Hong Kong-based private equity fund China Development Industrial Bank where he co-managed a US$1B program.

Before entering private equity, Adam founded a venture capital fund in Shanghai, PRC, and held roles as a global macro hedge fund trader and equity analyst in New York and Hong Kong.
